Easy install, did what it was supposed to do. The Bluetooth feature was a little goofy in that it defaults to grabbing Bluetooth at first and I couldn't get it to take the optical signal until I forced a Bluetooth connection and then manually disconnected same. But after that everything worked like clockwork. Brought my 20 year old pioneer receiver back into service with this new generation of TV's that only sport an optical audio out. Way cheaper option than going with a wireless audio system that sounds like Kronos (which I happen to love) to play Pandora or other audio over Bluetooth.

I have a vintage 60 year old Zenith console stereo. I plugged this unit into a tape input port, turn this unit on, and pair it to my phone. I now can stream all of my music that I have on my phone to this converter. The audio quality is as clear as if I was playing a CD. There is absolutely NO static, or any interference at all. Just pure audio.. Even the stereo imaging is great. This converter works so good, I bought a second one for another vintage stereo receiver I have in my garage. Bring your older stereo equipment into the 21st century. Now I can stream my music to my vintage stereo equipment.

Surprisingly, this little item works very well. Hooked it up and it worked immediately. Bluetooth works well and connects 100% of the time. Signal from my TV-through this box-to my stereo is a little low in volume but that isn't necessarily the fault of this box. I added an iboost 800 to increase the line level signal and the combination works very well. The sound quality through bluetooth isn't quite as good as using the 3.5mm jack but it is good enough for the added convince of going wireless. The quality of music you stream is probably a bigger factor here.

I use it everyday to go from optical to rca to connect my smart tv to my stereo. I did use it once or twice to connect my phone to my stereo via bluetooth, and it worked, but wasn't necessary because my stereo already has bluetooth. That being said, it can't connect to my bluetooth stereo via bluetooth because both are secondary bluetooth devices and have no bluetooth menu. No issues with quality or function so far.

Just got today and so far really happy with this device. Volume level seems a bit lower compared to other inputs but not by much. Bluetooth connection was getting some crackles intermittently but again not enough for me to be concerned. I have an old Yamaha M70 and wanted to be able to easily listen to music from my phone and connect to the digital audio on my satellite box. This one small unit did both of those things at a great price and it's very easy to use.
